description of the CarCoverShield
complete package (product description): Rust protection bag CarCoverShield The corrosin protective bag is made of LDPE special synthetic granules, to which an UV stabilizer is added. It is a foil special make. The application of construction foil or greenhouse film seemed to be rather improper. The standart measures of the car protective envelope amount length 246" width 78", height 67" ; foil thickness 0,2mm this way very robust. The closeness of the cover was checked in test runs. Variedly strong LDPE foils were used. We could realize thereby that the 200µ foil is most suitable. At the end of the test runs (october 25th 2002) a car was placed in the 0,2mm thick car protective bag with addition of 6 x 1000g bags water vapor absorptive desiccant granules and a hygrometer. After one week 20% relative air moisture was noted. 9 Months later, thus in June 2003 the air moisture values were still pleasant 24% in the bag. The amount of the air moisture in the CarCoverShield corrosion protective bag can certainly be adapted to the requirements. A value between 43% 47% ram is ideal. With this completing test only the reliability as well as the cloeness were checked by means of a bodyshell. Desiccant granules bag(absorber): 
drying agentriate. In the CarCoverShield package a clay granules of a German manufacturer is used. The CarCoverShield package contains 5 Kg (11lbs) of this brilliant desiccant granules in 1000g cotton packs each. The relative absorbability amounts 184 g water vapor per 1000 g granules . The regeneration of the absorbability is effected at a temperature of 120° to 130°C over a period of approx 5½ hours in a household oven. The CarCoverShield desiccant bags can be regenerated manifold in case of correct handling . Flannel cloth (lacquer protection A flannel cotton cloth of best quality is enclosed to the CarCoverShield package for a sure and professional preservation of cars, so that your vehicle "feels comfortable" during the . winter break. It is important for us to use adequate materials. The size of the cloth in the standart delivery amounts 200" x 118". Weight:290g/m². Material:100% cotton cloth two-sided roughened, uncolored. In other words, very soft flannel. No beaver bedding (flanellette) has an essentially lower weight. Hygrometer The air moisture device, wich is included in the CarCoverShield rust protection package, is a battery-operated electronical combined instrument. Accuracy of the air moisture value amounts +/-3% ram. This measuring device is a hygrometer of a German instrument manufacturer. |
